Wiltshire Council's Big Pledge returns in June and with it being Olympic year they hope we can really make a difference to our health and wellbeing by signing up to one of this year’s sporting challenges. The 'Road to Rio' was launched at Corsham's Springfield Campus and the Challenges begin on 4 June for eight weeks. You can sign up as an individual or a team and there are Bronze, Silver and Gold standard challenges and all the details are at: www.wiltshire.gov.uk/bigpledge. If you are in the Corsham area and your team plan to cover the whole 9,281km, (that's the distance from London to Rio) - let Corsham TV know and perhaps we can feature your 'Big Pledge'.

Scoop The Poop Campaign

Scoop the Poop is a campaign started by a group of Corsham parents who have taken on the challenge to make Corsham dog poo free. As part of their campaign they held a poster design competition which attracted over 200 entries. The posters are now on display at the Springfield Campus and in this video, Kirsty Hall, one of the parents behind the campaign, reveals the winning poster and what's next to help keep our community dog poo free.
