Dominic Clare-Peacock Arts Trail 2017

Dominic Clare is a woodwork artist that uses chainsaw and shot blasting/burning techniques to create sculptures. His studio is open to the public to view as part of the Peacock Arts Trail, running in Corsham and surrounding villages until the 8th October. Blue Sky Festival 2017

This showreel was put together by The Pound Arts Centre to preview their upcoming festival. The Blue Sky Festival is a joyous, warm, quirky festival of the arts featuring performances, exhibitions and workshops. The festival will take place in Corsham from Tuesday 13th - Sunday 18th June. Launch of the Springfield Campus Mosaic

The Springfield Mosaic, that Corsham TV filmed some of the making of by local primary school children and artist Emma Leith, has been officially launched at the Campus. On May 25th a special event was held for all the makers to see it and to celebrate their achievement. We spoke to the North Wiltshire Decorative and Fine Arts Society who supported the project along with the Corsham Area Board, and filmed this new piece of community art in its new home.  Watch video >>

New Mosaic for the Springfield Campus

A new piece of community art will soon be arriving at the Springfield Campus. The mosaic has been made by pupils from Corsham's Primary Schools, supported by the Corsham Area Board and the North Wilts Decorative and Fine Arts Society. Peacock Art Trail Youth Competition launched

Anna Gillespie at The Pound

As part of the Magic & Mayhem Festival a new installation and exhibition of sculpture runs through November at The Pound in Corsham. In this video the artist Anna Gillespie, who lives and works in Bath, talks about the pieces in the exhibition and her inspiration. Poppy Harvest at Corsham Town Hall

As part of the preparations for the WW1 Hospital re-enactment taking place this October in Corsham Town Hall, Box based textile artist and 'yarn bomber' Emma Leith has been working with Corsham's knitting and crochet enthusiasts to create a huge number of poppies that will decorate the Town Hall and other parts of the Town. The Corsham School A-Level Art Exhibition

Every year The Corsham School A-Level art students exhibit their work in a show open to the public held at Corsham's Community Campus. Corsham TV had a sneak preview of some of the incredible talent on show. Alex Bishop & Effra at the Pound Arts Centre

Alex Bishop, guitar maker and musician, started his artist residency at the Pound Arts Centre in January 2016. We spoke to him and his fellow band mates, Aidan Shepherd and Tom Newell, about their alternative folk music and how the Pound is helping them further their musical ambitions. Blue Sky Festival welcomes Bristol Reggae Orchestra

The Bristol Reggae Orchestra are just one of the acts that will be visiting Corsham for the Blue Sky Festival, running from the 23rd - 26th June. On Monday 13th June, at the orchestras first full rehearsal session with the Blue Sky Choir, comprised of children from five local primary schools, we spoke to some of their members as well as the Pound Arts Centres Marketing Co-ordinator to find out more about the upcoming Festival. Lacock Abbey's 'Elements of Capability'

The National Trust at Lacock is hosting an exhibition of outdoor sculpture by local artists to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of 'Capability' Brown. Corsham TV filmed as the art was installed in the grounds of Lacock Abbey and learnt more about his legacy and the art he has now inspired. The exhibition runs until May 22nd 2016. West of England Youth Orchestra

With young musicians from Corsham and other parts of Wiltshire and the West, the West of England Youth Orchestra is based at the Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford on Avon. Chris Dunn Exhibition at Pound Arts

Over The Top: The true life tale of Dorothy Lawrence

In 1915 a Salisbury woman, determined to be a war correspondent, lived amongst front line troops in France. Dorothy Lawrence's story is told in a new play 'Over the Top' to be performed at Pound Arts on March 4th. 100 years on, the story still has huge power and relevance, as director Lizzie Crarer told us in Corsham TV's preview of the play.
