Consultation over the future of Corsham's Children's Centre

Wiltshire Council's official consultation over the future of the Children's Centre in Corsham has just ended and a report is currently being prepared for the Council to make decisions over its future and the way the service is to work going forward. Cardboard Craziness at Corsham Regis

Last week Corsham Regis Primary Academy went cardboard crazy! Robots came face to face with dragons as the whole school dedicated their afternoons to a massive creative project. The two artists in this video represent the huge variety in this year's Peacock Arts Trail. Emma's world is defined by colour and texture and Chris is a painter with an architect's training, specialising in historical subjects and aviation. Wiltshire Councils Corsham Area Board meets regularly to make decisions affecting our area, but how does it work? Pound Arts' Creative Futures Appeal

Pound Arts in Corsham have launched an appeal over the next month to help their work with young people across the County. They work in areas of rural deprivation, supporting vulnerable young people, such as young carers, or those with profound learning or behavioural disabilities. Dragomir Misina Opening at Pound Arts

Until 21st February, Corsham's Pound Arts hosts a solo show by Bath based artist Dragomir Misina. All of his abstract works start with the inspiration of a story or narrative and then he lets them take him to the next level, where he finds new meaning through the different ideas and techniques in his paintings. Corsham TV was at the opening of the show and interviewed the artist to find out more about his work, which takes inspiration from Mickey Mouse, Alice in Wonderland and even the meaning of our Galaxy.  Watch video >>

New Resident Artist at Pound Arts

A new resident artist, Caroline Rudge, has moved into the Pound Arts Centre in Corsham. Corsham TV was there on her first day to find out about how she's looking forward to coming out from behind her easel to meet people at the Pound and preview her work that often uses ancient painting techniques and a lot of gold.
