Policy on Content
We are committed to high quality, creative and engaging content that is independent, impartial and honest. Trust is a foundation stone of Corsham TV and we strive not to mislead or misrepresent our audience, nor the participants involved on our channel.
We are an open platform and as long as any content is not damaging, insulting, defamatory, racist, sexist or denigrates any person or group we are keen to represent as wide a range of opinions, issues, events and news within the Corsham community as possible.
We reflect different views in our output and due balance will be achieved through the breadth and diversity of our output as a whole, over an appropriate period, so that no significant strand of opinion is knowingly unreflected or under represented. We will give a voice to many opinions that are relevant to the Corsham area and we welcome comments and differing views.
Our editorial policy is independent of outside influences that could undermine our editorial integrity and our audience should be confident that decisions are not influenced by political, commercial or any personal interests.
We will respect privacy, ask searching questions of those who are publicly accountable, provide a forum for public debate, and be transparent about the nature and origins of all our content.
We will always safeguard the welfare of any children we feature and be accountable to our audience. We will be open in acknowledging mistakes when they are made and will always strive to learn from them.

We welcome suggestions for content, ideas for events and programming strands. We are also open to ideas for transparent and open sponsorship of content to increase the sustainability of the Channel.
